This sheet should be attached to your AD assignment with check marks visible that you have checked your paper and that it follows the requirements.
□ Double space your 300-word reflection paper.
□ Use 12 point Times New Roman font.
□ For the audio description script, it should look like the script on the Information section of Blackboard and include the dialogue, a running time stamp and the audio described parts. Example of an audio description timed script here: http://www.adlabproject.eu/Docs/adlab%20book/index.html#example-ad
□ Be sure to put the link for the video clip you audio described at the top of your script.
□ Is the reflection paper in APA style with in-text citations for everything quoted or paraphrased? i.e. (Haller, 2010) or if it needs a page number for a direct quote, (Haller, 2010, p. 21). Punctuation like a period goes after the in-text citation. http://www.apastyle.org/learn/index.aspx
□ The reflection paper should have a full reference list in alphabetical order and in APA style. Please make sure you have the required number of references.
□ The reflection paper should include at least 3 direct quotes from the AD readings.
□ Put the word count on the first page before the first paragraph of the reflection paper.
□ Run spell and grammar check.
□ Please follow American spelling and punctuation style. American English style is to use double quotation marks and for all punctuation to go inside quote marks.
□ Make sure the content of your paper matches assignment requirements.
□ Your paper should reflect on the experience of doing an audio description, i.e. what you learned, challenges, and new ways you think about accessible media.
